On behalf of the AAPHCE Organizing Committee we would like to invite you to join us a sponsor for the upcoming 3rd AAPHCE. The virtual congress which is scheduled on 13th – 16th September 2021. About AAPHCE
The AAPHCE is a biennial event organized by the African Union Commission in collaboration with other partners. This is in response to meeting the African Union Heads of State and Government commitment on ending hunger in Africa by reducing postharvest losses in Africa by 50% by 2025. In the same context at the global level under the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal, SDG 12 on sustainable production and consumption, target 12.3 calls for halving per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reducing food losses along production and supply chains (including postharvest losses) by 2030. The theme for the 3rd AAPHCE is Postharvest Loss Reduction for Sustainable Food Systems. This theme is aligned with the 2021 call to action towards sustainable food systems. The 3rd AAPHCE is scheduled on 13th – 16th September 2021.
Due to travel restrictions occasioned by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the 3rd AAPHCE will be a virtual event.
